The last few days have been intense…

Have you ever felt overwhelmed and just thought, “What the…?” I did yesterday. It seriously doesn’t happen often, so the feeling stood out.

I was detoxing the past few days, but didn’t realize it.

Not only that, I had a day of meetings.

I had to have two big-girl conversations (the kind that I dread) with two people I care about.

Oh, and relationship stuff is always evolving… so there’s that.

I cried. Just saying.

I cried. Just saying.

I realized after watching Matthew McConaughey’s talk this week about the place where he grew up (Uvalde, Texas), that I had still been processing the shooting.

This is not an email about guns, nor is it a political one either.

BAM! Yep, this happened.

BAM! Yep, this happened.

I had a client ask me last night, “When are all these challenges and triggers going to end so we can get back to normal?”. Newsflash. This is our new normal. So much change is being catalyzed these days, and if you get into emergency mode, it is easy to want to protect yourself and others, to hide, to “carry” your family, or those you love or even yourself.

Here’s something to consider this morning: Just because you’re there for others, doesn’t mean you are necessarily helping them. It depends on whether you’re giving from your overflow and your inspiration, or you are “carrying” them. It may even be that you’re not authentically trying to help them; maybe, just maybe, you’re trying to make your own self feel better because you don’t like the way they’re being or behaving.

I have most certainly carried people I care about at some point in my life. It’s as though I thought that I had the power to make someone else happy. It is so clear to me at this point that no one can make anyone else happy. In fact, doing that can leave the other person(s) powerless to do it for themselves.

Are you leaving space for the miraculous?

Are you leaving space for the miraculous?

I’m not sure if anyone ever truly gets that I am definitely in the programs that I teach, even though I am facilitating. And I am! Half the things that get discussed are perfectly suited for helping me find more freedom, meaning, and flow, too. Saturday’s Get Out of Your Own Way™ program was no exception.

Sunday I woke up with my head stuffy, feeling heated, and an achy body. Uh oh. Adam just had the c-flu; maybe I have it, too?

My word for the year, and…

My word for the year, and…

I was just wondering why Spaciousness was my word this year.

We are now almost half way through the year (can you believe it?) and so much is up for renewal!

Take my body for instance. I notice immediately when it is in Overwhelm, because my cravings go up, neck tension starts, I get a little reactive, and my creativity goes out the window. If I partake in Overwhelm long enough, I even gain weight… ugh. My body is a perfect barometer of where I am.

These five symptoms are representative of about 15 other symptoms of adrenal fatigue, and even a sluggish thyroid. At first when I feel the symptoms, I hear myself saying, “Really?” Then I realize and remember that I have a deep knowing of how to bring myself back to the state of energized inspiration.

This is important for me to remember in these times…

This is important for me to remember in these times…

Years ago, in one of our programs, a dear client talked about a powerful story that is so relevant to what is going on in the world now… about the power and purity of a child in times of great polarity.

She went to Ireland with her family at age seven.

She is Protestant and she went to a beach community of a mainly Catholic village, when, at times, there was still tremendous infighting and violence.

While she was on the beach, a seven-year-old local, red-headed girl would come and play, building sandcastles with her.

After a few days the young Irish girl asked, “Are you Protestant?”, to which my client replied, “Yes, I am.”

The red-head then declared, “Well, I think you are lovely! I don’t understand what the grown-ups are saying.”

My client said, “Me either.”

And the red-headed girl suggested, “Maybe we should hug for a long time until the rest of the world feels it, so that they can all get along.”

My client said, “I think that is a perfect idea!”

And so the two of them hugged for a couple of minutes, hoping that maybe someone would see or feel them getting along, and loving each other despite their differences.

Do you feel them?

In a non-time/space reality, that wave is still going out into consciousness. I choose to feel it and all of its implications, right now.

First and foremost, HAPPY EARTH DAY. This message is one about our emotional environment these days, because I know that how we feel impacts our motivation to give to “the Great Mother.” And, if you read through to the bottom of this email, I will show you how you can be a member of the Heaven on Earth Construction Crew. But first….

Here’s a paradigm shift for you… We are family!

Here’s a paradigm shift for you… We are family!

When I was younger, I so wanted to feel like I belonged. I had glasses, acne, was taller than everyone, curly hair, was shy as anything, and I just felt like I wished someone “got” me and saw through the yuck.

Not to mention, I was super curious about physics, because my religion wasn’t giving me answers. Some, but not all. And there were contradictions. In High school, I used to debate spirituality with my Jehovah’s Witness friend, Nora… I still remember her. That was fun for me, since I didn’t fit in with everyone else, much like she didn’t either.

What’s possible when we shift in the way we shift…

What’s possible when we shift in the way we shift…

Here’s what was going on 20 years ago. I had to restrict my food to be healthy, I had to cleanse, I had to work hard on myself to “fix me,” and I had to be a much better person before I got on with my whole purpose. I asked myself, “Seriously, that’s what I have to do to feel great, love my life, be loved, live my dreams?” That is NOT thriving.

That’s working hard to deserve goodness; it’s surviving. Maybe surviving well sometimes, but if the Universe loves me (and you), and dreamt me (and you) into being, there is no way life has to be that hard.

I remember the day 20 years ago that I got so frustrated after taking a personal development program because I started feeling so tired of constantly analyzing and excavating my brokenness. I had been looking at past lives, my relationship with my family, and the perfectionism that dogged me. It all seemed like an endless sea of “why’s.”

Groundhogs and love winning!

Groundhogs and love winning!

I had just finished a weekend with a dear genius friend, writing a book together, which activated a new kind of “druid like” communion where words weren’t necessary (cool), then speaking to a wicked tantra teacher about intimacy with myself even more and being in full pu**y-power (way cool), followed by a huge conversation in a world-changing project about health care of which I am a part, and healed a 2.5-year-old wound much more fully. Moving through all of it took community and it took LETTING LOVE OF MY DREAMS AND MYSELF to win.

Sweet Adam M Lamb has done an incredible job of creating our new interview and podcast studio downstairs. The coolest part of it was that I got to put the finishing touches on the special room by hanging two beautiful pictures by our friend, Lisa Winston.

I am also vigilant for blessings. I truly feel blessed. Of course, crappy things absolutely happen to me as well… I just call them suboptimal things. I find it helps me to use less “judgy” language. It keeps me neutral.

Feeling tired, out of sorts, sleepless, not able to keep my eyes open, being “off,” having poor concentration, and achiness were all in the cards for me this week. Why? Because solar flares are real, and we are magnetic and electrical beings. We have receptor sites for synchrotronic radiation from the sun on the outside of our cells.

My new favorite word saved my life!

My new favorite word saved my life!

You know how sometimes you just feel that a lot of change is happening? Well right now that is happening with my Team, in my business, in the world, my relationship, menopause, and for sure with this book going on.

I have spent the last eight months writing this book, and years moving through its creation, and now it’s time to let it come to life on its own. Completing it is definitely letting life know that I am up for what is next, because what is next is showing up everywhere. It’s a lot. My first response is to try to control it. Have you ever felt that way?

Grateful. Scare-cited. Tingles. Heart full. Feeling all the feels as this book comes alive. What a journey it has been.

Have you noticed that it’s so easy to get overwhelmed when the environment of the world at large is shifting so quickly, and there is so much contrast? I’ve felt it myself, and recently have had to do quite a bit more to stay grounded.

I want to share with you Day 6 of our 12 Days of Living UNSTUCK. Day 6 was all about What in the World is Going on with the World? In this video, we talked about creating bridges that are inspired by events in life that we don’t desire. The more quickly we let the polarity in life inspire new ideas, the more fluid life gets.

Giving birth much? Happy New Year…

I spent the weekend of New Years by the light of our fire, together with Adam, examining what I am willing to settle for in my life. These past several years have caused me to examine what is simply not tolerable anymore, either for me in the world or in my life.

An absolute must for New Year’s… fire yourself!

I fire everyone from TWA (including myself)… but don’t freak out. There is a method in the madness, and it has to do with the New Year.

We have a crazy ritual we do at TWA, where I fire everyone at least once per year. “WHAT?,” you say? Yep!

Happy Solstice… and something to complete this year.

Happy Solstice… and something to complete this year.

In this weekly message, I had a strong sense that we are being asked to relate, individually and collectively, to 2022 in a way that brings us across the bridge further to finding true fulfillment and meaning, while being the piece of the puzzle that we were born to be.

That perhaps we could do a Winter (or Summer, if you are in the southern hemisphere) Solstice reset exercise. The same one we did on our Be² call for December.
