The Unknown is my friend…

“Your love affair with the unknown
will transcend the need for courage.

THE UNKNOWN IS MY FRIEND!

I’m so excited for multitudes of reasons.

Sweet Adam M Lamb has done an incredible job of creating our new interview and podcast studio downstairs. The coolest part of it was that I got to put the finishing touches on the special room by hanging two beautiful pictures by our friend, Lisa Winston.

I am also vigilant for blessings. I truly feel blessed. Of course, crappy things absolutely happen to me as well… I just call them suboptimal things. I find it helps me to use less “judgy” language. It keeps me neutral.

I mean, who am I to judge what happens to me? Likely the “suboptimal” events are simply catalyzing me to a new adventure. Words like “sub-optimal” keep me in curiousity instead of the hamster brain wheel.

Sometimes those things also turn out to be blessings in the end. I had no idea what it would look like when I smelled paint and heard all the activity downstairs for the month or two Adam was down there creating. I’m not sure that he even knew what the end result would be.

And did I get nervous? Yep. Was I thinking about moving out while it was happening? LOL; in my head, yep. Did I keep breathing and getting myself back to my presence and knowing how much fun he was having? Yep.

I mean, in life there are so many unknowns and we try to control them. If you knew how powerful you are, and knew your Super Powers, wouldn’t the unknown be half the fun?

I understand that the unknown is not fun for many people, but I suggest that it is simply because we have prioritized “feeling in control” over staying curious on the adventure!

I’m going to reiterate:

Your love affair with the unknown will transcend the need for courage.

Think about it. And keep practicing your Super Powers.

With love,
Jennifer
