“Discomfort only happens when you make the mistake of thinking that the unfamiliar is the same as scary.”
~ J. Hough (Tweetable)
Hi there –
I was just thinking that just because you’ve never done something before, never been that vulnerable before, never spoken in front of people before, never bought a house before, never grown a business before… that doesn’t mean it has to be scary. What if “scary” is just the ego’s mis-interpretation of unfamiliar?
By the way, unfamiliar becomes familiar just by practicing…
Love,
Jennifer xoxo
P.S.
Seems to me that true freedom might come from allowing ourselves to become familiar with as many things as we can!
If this resonates for you, maybe it will for your friends, too…
