What do you want?

“When we have expectations of someone (or a circumstance) to make us more comfortable, it is often like asking a fish to climb a tree. They can do it, but it won’t be pretty and they won’t be happy. Maybe it will save you both a lot of energy to appreciate how well they swim instead of climb.”

(Tweet me!)

So what circumstance or person are you expecting to be different than they are?

I can tell you that when I first met my sweetie, I sure as heck was not expecting to fall in love with him, because he didn’t match my list. I thank God every day I let go of my expectations!

I’m reminded of people who take our program, Flight School. When they start the program, they can see so much is possible with their relationships, businesses, love and their bodies. However, if you ask any of them, they will tell you that by letting go of all expectations, what shows up is beyond what they could ever imagine.

Do you want what you expect, or what’s beyond your wildest dreams? Just askin’…

With love,
Jennifer

P.S. I know it feels safer to get what you expect, but it’s not “more funner.” LOL! You were born to thrive, not survive.
