My word for the year, and…

I was just wondering why Spaciousness was my word this year.

We are now almost half way through the year (can you believe it?) and so much is up for renewal!

Take my body for instance. I notice immediately when it is in Overwhelm, because my cravings go up, neck tension starts, I get a little reactive, and my creativity goes out the window. If I partake in Overwhelm long enough, I even gain weight… ugh. My body is a perfect barometer of where I am.

These five symptoms are representative of about 15 other symptoms of adrenal fatigue, and even a sluggish thyroid. At first when I feel the symptoms, I hear myself saying, “Really?” Then I realize and remember that I have a deep knowing of how to bring myself back to the state of energized inspiration.

I had lots of practice as a nutritionist and a former perfectionist.

And for me, it starts with Spaciousness… in fact, way more than I thought I needed. And to really feel myself have access to thriving with energy, love and focus, it has taken what I like to call “deep skills” when it comes to Spaciousness. From there, I can find my way to the answers, nutrition, practices, and what my spirit and biology require to need less sleep, find peace, connect with clarity, and create moving forward.

It’s been a lot this year. Even a week ago, there was an eclipse, and some pretty heavy duty solar flares. And, this week there is a lunar eclipse and the full moon happening during the online program, Get Out of Your Own Way™ to Overwhelm NO, Spaciousness YES.

I am so looking forward to this full moon, as it is always an opportunity for a choice point and renewal. A powerful time where the ability to make lasting change, to shift our biology and our lives into spaciousness together, are deeply available.

I like to use the polarity that is happening in the world as a catalyst for my expansiveness, but it takes “deep skills,” and I am the first to own that. Especially in the world the way it is now. That’s why we planned for our Get Out of Your Own Way™, Spaciousness Yes, Overwhelm No to be on Friday, May 13th, in the evening, and during the day of Saturday, May 14th.

There is an “or better” bonus to participating in this upcoming Get Out of Your Own Way™ Spaciousness Yes, Overwhelm No, as The Wide Awakening Team and I included a year’s membership to our exclusive Agents of Awakening Community. Here, like minds and hearts meet up online, and it has many other bonuses when you sign up for this weekend! Some of those are, to name a few, our fall Get Out of Your Own Way™ – True Fulfillment and Meaning, Monthly BE² workshop calls, and the Agents of Awakening Book Club.

This Friday evening is the prep class, and I’m going to speak about Adrenal and Thyroid Vitality During Times of Great Change; yep, I’m bringing nutrition into it! This was my specialty when I ran The Vital You Nutrition Clinic and I can’t wait to share it with you.

With love,

You were not born to fit in with anyone else…

I wanted to share with you how grateful I am to my colleague Shannon, for my new favorite question:

“What is the most fulfilling thing I can do, with the least amount of effort, that uses my abilities the most, while making the biggest difference and has me waking up inspired every day?”

It never gets old!

It never gets old!

What a day full of rain showed me as I walked up to the top of a hill to do my daily evening practice…

Once I was at the top of the hill, I noticed in the distance were the mountains to the left and clouds that had spent a whole week here, were moving away. The sun was peeping through as it was going down. The rays of light were spectacular on the mountains.

A little tree shaking…

A little tree shaking…

I used to be VERY teacher-like (my Mom was a teacher, so I come by it honestly).

I was just used to it; I never questioned being that way. However, I didn’t realize what it cost me, and that was MY POWER.

It put me above people. It looked as though I had it all handled, and I didn’t. As a result, I also attracted people who wanted to give their power away to me.
