I cried. Just saying.

“Self esteem is keeping the promises that you make
to yourself.…

~ Eric Thomas

I realized after watching Matthew McConaughey’s talk this week about the place where he grew up (Uvalde, Texas), that I had still been processing the shooting.

This is not an email about guns, nor is it a political one either.

This is an email about what the world would be like if we kept the conscious and unconscious promises we make to ourselves. Sometimes those promises, if we were to have enough esteem for ourselves and the world around us, would include talking about hard topics.

Sometimes it would even include getting in front of hundreds of millions of people when you didn’t have to.

Maybe you would stand up for an inequity.

Maybe you would tell the truth to your spouse.

Maybe you would eat organic.

Maybe you would make friends with some neighbours.

Maybe you would join a movement that has been calling to you and speaks to your heart.

Can you see how those, with esteem for themselves, must also have esteem for their communities and the world around them?

I’ll give my self-esteem a 7.5, based on the definition in Eric Thomas’s quote:

“Self esteem is keeping the promises that you make to yourself.…”

On some subjects, I’m probably a 9.5 (there’s always room to grow), and on some subjects I think I’m a 4.5 and getting better (because I think I might have been a 1 at some point on the subject of my body).

One thing that I will reiterate that Matthew said, that is also a truth for me:

“We are not as divided as “news, media, social media, insecure people who are in fear” tell us we are.“ That is also my experience.

You are either creating the future you want to live in with your words and actions, or you are Activating a past through words and actions inspired by fear. One thing I know for sure, is that I do not want to be a part of this world standing still as it is.

What will you do to get people thinking?
Who can you thank today?
What can you do to make one person’s life better?
Or, maybe there’s a politician you need to write a letter to?

Eric Thomas and I also have an idea in common:

If you are standing still, you are still going backwards, because every thing/project/aspect of this world is rotating anew.

Just thought I’d shake your tree a little.

With love,
Jennifer

P.S. WHAT HAPPENED TO OUR ENERGY, MENTAL CLARITY AND BIOLOGICAL AGE OVER THE PAST TWO YEARS, AND HOW CAN WE HEAL?

I asked myself two years ago: How can I have my body thrive through times of great change? And I’ve been following those guidelines and sharing them with our clients. However, I realized that so many people are feeling stressed, inflamed, menopausal, and tired. You can heal your adrenals and regain mental clarity. Anyone can. I am going to share the important skills, protocol and so much more. Please join us on June 27th for one of the most important health workshops I’ve ever done. Tell a friend. Check it out and save your seat today!

(We will also be including a Health Assessment called WISE™ Analysis for every participant: Value $300.00)

Fears and freedom

Fears and freedom

The other morning, as I was pulling out an old plant that took up a lot of room and was on its way out, I heard the bell from the Baptist church down the road, at the same time as I caught a glimpse of the peonies I was planting to replace the old bush.

I love peonies. They remind me of Canada and my front yard. They take me to an emotional home place. That’s why I’m planting them. I keep imagining seeing the peonies while I’m sitting on my front porch.

At the gathering place down the road, the minister is impassioned and talks very loudly. Sometimes, he’s incredibly inspiring and I just stand outside on the road and listen, while at others when he talks about the challenging aspects of humanity, there’s fear within the church. I speak at many churches, so this isn’t about making church wrong, but rather the idea that most of humanity spends time finger-pointing.

My heart is so full of blessings…

After a rich and vibrant time in the Embodiment Workshop in Asheville, my heart is so full of blessings.

I’m so grateful for the participants, the TWA Team, and so incredibly blessed to have opulence everywhere around me in my garden. Not only for the lettuce, but the seeds for new lettuce. It’s truly overflowing …

I’m grateful for all the shifts and clarity that happened for both myself, and collectively, and wanted to share something with you…

Resilience for me is a form of ‘getting by’…

Resilience for me is a form of ‘getting by’…

For me, resilience is a good start but if I stayed with that as my ultimate goal, it’d feel like a booby prize.

It’s not my ultimate goal.

In a constantly changing world the key, for me, is to thoroughly enjoy this journey.

It’s thriving through the change.
