How to get the world off your shoulders…

“Be your own ‘everything,’ then you won’t have to be everyone else’s.
At least then they will have an example. Just saying.”

Ever had this feeling like it’s your job to make someone else happy? Or worse, that when someone else is unhappy, that you messed up or need to make it better?

Listen, I did that with Adam for years. Yeah! It’s called “Carrying.” It comes from identities that you developed because of some hurt that you suffered in the past.

An identity is used to protect yourself from something painful happening again. This identity (one of many) came from a horrific breakup with a deep love connection, who ran away and didn’t “see” me, when I thought he did. I was a little naive then, and certainly in “wishful thinking; it’s all about me” mode.

Why do we “carry,” you ask?

Well, most of us who carry think that it will:

  1. Cause the one we love not to leave us, so we don’t have to be alone
  2. Cause nobody to judge us as a bad mother, partner, sibling, child, Christian (or any religion)
  3. Get us a closer seat to God
  4. Prove we are enough to God, our parents from 20 years ago, our children
  5. Make up for something we think we did wrong (divorce, leave home, fail at something, et.al.)
  6. Generally prevent some kind of pain

When you start to embody all of the magical chemist that you are, you see that the only thing you can do is BE YOURSELF AS AN EXAMPLE. It does NOT mean fitting someone else’s pretty picture of who you should be (whether dead, alive, or in the Bible).

  • Make mistakes and clean them up
  • Allow yourself unconscious behaviour, but apologize
  • Set others free from your expectations, or the expectations you are creating for them, and the jail that was created for you
  • Be an unfolding flower, while aiming for the full blossoming experience

With love,
Jennifer

What if all the beliefs that you adhere to aren’t even yours?

What if all the beliefs that you adhere to aren’t even yours?

Something happened this week that was such a great reminder to remain humble, and know that we are all human. It also reminded me that we are all human and any beliefs that anyone is better than you or I, are simply old beliefs.

This week I was on a beautiful cheer-fest for Money and You with my dear friend Doria Cordova with well-known thought leaders from all over the world. It was a privilege to be included.

The leaders that have taken Money and You are all incredibly humble and so smart…..and you probably know their names; Jack Canfield, Ken Honda just to name a few.

And, there was a leader who was there that behaved a little differently than the others. He also did not exude the humility of the rest. And I realized that he had stuck beliefs and was being righteous, and that I had beliefs about how he should be.

Why is the paradigm for prosperity shifting?

Why is the paradigm for prosperity shifting?

The paradigm for prosperity is shifting and the laws of physics give me great hope, here’s why!

Most of us aren’t present to the shifts happening around us because we’re so distracted by the noise.

Globally, wars, political differences, media streaming, fear-based rhetoric, and divisive communications create polarity. Simultaneously, that polarity and struggle is birthing ideas being acted upon by the younger generation as it sits in the ‘dark matter’ of consciousness, waiting in the sub-atomic spaces to be birthed!

Metaphysically speaking, for every problem there is already an existing solution as it’s part of how the Universe stays in balance.

Should we only do things that ‘feel good’?

Should we only do things that ‘feel good’?

Should we only do things that ‘feel good’?

Well, you might be surprised to hear me say absolutely not.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s not about deliberately forcing ourselves to do things that feel awful.

It’s just that I hear so many people saying… “only do it if it feels good”.

Here’s the issue with that:
