“Collecting evidence that others judge you is a waste of precious time. They do, quite a bit. The question is, will you use your energy to make everyone like you, or will you use it to express your uniqueness in the hope that one day they will catch up?”
~ Jennifer Hough
Dear You:
I just want to say how saddened I am by what happened in Florida this week. For the families, but also for the statement it makes about where we are.
It just makes me more feisty about faster change and more leadership.
There are a few things that I hope may assist you or someone you love:
1. Please don’t listen to the news; it simply causes polarity. The community in Florida and its families are going to be mourning this a long time… they need our love and compassion, not our giving our energies to sensationalism.
2. Instead of sending love, my suggestion is to light the situation up to its highest outcome. It is hard to see how that could happen; I understand. However, be a relentless champion of change happening as a result… when you are ready.
3. I am a huge fan of allowing yourself to be catalyzed by events like this. Let yourself be shown how you can be the change even more than you are… let yourself be seen and heard.
This is not just an LGBT issue… it is issues of deep mis-understanding of each other Globally, and fear of differences.
You are a member of the Heaven on Earth Construction Crew if you are reading this, so see how you can bring more understanding to both your world and this world.
