Where True Perfection Lives

Are you tired of the struggle?

From The Wide Awakening Weekly

“The degree to which you stubbornly hold on to doing things
YOUR way is directly proportionate to the intensity of the
tree shaking you’ll get from the Universe to bring you back
to your groove. Now that’s love!”
~ Jennifer Hough  (Tweet me!)

Dear You,

A couple of times per year, I forget that living my life is not about doing it all myself and doing it MY way (although I have to admit I used to pretend it was!). Ahhhh! So, let me share with you what happened last Tuesday. I sat down and started taking actions to check things off my TO-DO list. I made a phone call here, did an email there, looked up a website, blah blah blah… Nothing got completed. My flow-dar (radar of flow) was so loud the whole time, and I kept hearing my greater wisdom saying, “Jen, go for a walk in nature.”

For some bizarre reason, I thought I would experiment with greater wisdom, and see if I could attempt to operate from stubbornness and to the attachment of doing things “MY way.” I think you know how that ended! Sigh…

Looking back at the four hours of my life that I spent forgetting to flow with it all was awesome! Y’know why? Because with this clarity, now I get to, and without reservation, share with you the following:

THE HEAD’S WAY IS ALWAYS HARDER THAN THE NATURAL FLOW OF LIFE.

AND that, dear one, is where true perfection lives.

Love,
xoxoxoox Jennifer

P.S. I just want you to know that I will NOT be performing that experiment again…and since Tuesday was ever soooo expansive for me (sigh)… I gott a get back to being served up by the Universe! Ya coming with me? I’m inviting you!

If this resonates for you, maybe it will for your friends, too…

Why is the paradigm for prosperity shifting?

The paradigm for prosperity is shifting and the laws of physics give me great hope, here’s why!

Most of us aren’t present to the shifts happening around us because we’re so distracted by the noise.

Globally, wars, political differences, media streaming, fear-based rhetoric, and divisive communications create polarity. Simultaneously, that polarity and struggle is birthing ideas being acted upon by the younger generation as it sits in the ‘dark matter’ of consciousness, waiting in the sub-atomic spaces to be birthed!

Metaphysically speaking, for every problem there is already an existing solution as it’s part of how the Universe stays in balance.

Should we only do things that ‘feel good’?

Should we only do things that ‘feel good’?

Well, you might be surprised to hear me say absolutely not.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s not about deliberately forcing ourselves to do things that feel awful.

It’s just that I hear so many people saying… “only do it if it feels good”.

Here’s the issue with that:

Fear does an interesting thing to our brains

Fear does an interesting thing to our brains.

I was listening to a brilliant podcast a few days ago which my husband reminded me about. Although they didn’t talk about this specifically, it struck me how important it is to understand how our brains work. In understanding this, I’m able to follow my knowing and feel connected to clarity, instead of being manipulated by noise which can only happen if I’m in fear; it’s so easy to be in fear these days, don’t you think?

Fight or flight creates an interesting shift in the brain causing us to relate to those who disagree with our viewpoint as the “other”, and there are those who want to manipulate others in order to protect themselves.
