“If you approach yourself like you’re broken and you need fixing, you’re never going to
receive the superpowers that would have you flourish forward.”

Sometimes I notice my mind gets caught in loops…automatic thoughts that don’t serve me anymore.
Have you ever done that?
The other day, I gave myself permission to step away from all of it. I wandered up to my favorite spot, under a magnificent 300-year-old oak tree. There’s a simple swing there, and as I swayed gently, looking out at the oldest mountains in the world, I remembered: life is already mostly epic, magical, and astonishingly aligned.
All I needed to do was breathe in what the trees were breathing out and feel myself as part of this living exchange.
From that perch, surrounded by the grounded wisdom of the Blue Ridge Mountains, I remembered how ancient they are, how they’ve stood here long before us and will stand long after. Their patience and timelessness remind me that even in times of transition, there is something steady holding me when my own life feels like it’s in transition.
I even recorded a video while I was there, reflecting on what happens right before we’re about to transcend an old pattern and why so often we sabotage ourselves in those moments (check out the video… and comment, tag me!). I won’t give away the heart of it here, but I will say: it’s one of the most important awarenesses I’ve had in years.
Here’s the thing I know for sure: in times of contrast, we’re invited to become more fearless, more expansive. The easy option is to curl up and hide but if we meet contrast with curiosity, it becomes the very fuel for our evolution.
That’s also why the most powerful moments I’ve ever shared with clients and our team haven’t been in the noise of daily life. They’ve happened when we stepped away together, letting nature mirror us back to ourselves.
Taking Time, and Truly Breaking the Glass Ceilings…
The Key to Ending Frustration
And that’s exactly why we’re heading to Costa Rica soon. The jungle, the ocean, the stars… the deeper truths. They have a way of resetting us, of returning us to clarity and spaciousness, of reminding us who you really are. The kind of reset that doesn’t fade when you go home, but actually propels you forward into a whole new spiral.
So if you’ve been saying to yourself, “It’s time”—time to stop circling the same ceiling, time to listen to the future self calling from inside and you might want to listen to that whisper.
