“When we make safety and fear more important than lining up with the solutions, that’s when you’re going to get triggered. When you make being ‘in control’ more important than your deeper knowing, you’ll engage the triggers instead of the vibration that would provide you with the answers you are seeking.” – Jennifer Hough
Have you ever felt like you’re caught in a whirlwind of endless to-do lists, constant distractions, and relentless pressure to perform?
If so, you’re not alone. As leaders and visionaries, we often find ourselves struggling to maintain clarity and focus amidst the chaos of our daily lives.
I’ve been there too. In fact, I used to be someone who tried to control every aspect of my life, believing that if I could just manage all the variables, I’d be safe from harm.
This mindset stemmed from a history of health challenges and a perfectionist upbringing. I became a lone wolf, convinced that no one else could truly understand or help me.
Because after all, I have to have it all handled.
But here’s the thing: when we’re in this survival mode, constantly trying to prevent bad things from happening, we actually block ourselves from receiving the clarity and creative solutions we so desperately seek. It’s like we’re tuned to the wrong frequency, unable to pick up the brilliant ideas that are already waiting for us in the universe.
The Physics of Clarity and Focus
Einstein once said (and I’m paraphrasing here), “The mind that created the problem isn’t the same one that’s going to get the solution.” In other words, if we’re stuck in the frustration and anxiety of a problem, we’re not in a state to receive the solutions.
This is where the concept of spaciousness breaks comes in. These aren’t just your average coffee breaks or meditation sessions. They’re intentional shifts in your energy and focus that allow you to tap into a different aspect of life.
How to Take Effective Spaciousness Breaks:
- Engage in a completely unrelated activity: Go for a walk in nature, dance to your favorite music, or work in your garden. The key is to do something that brings you joy and takes you out of your problem-solving mindset.
- Listen to Binaural Beats: These specially designed audio tracks can help shift your brainwaves into a more receptive state. (I’ll be sharing some of my favorite binaural beat resources on social media soon.)
- Create an Evidence Journal: Each night, write down instances where you received unexpected clarity or solutions when you got out of your own way. This builds your confidence in the process and reminds you of your ability to access higher wisdom.
Beyond Tools: Embodying a New Way of Being
While these tools are incredibly helpful, the real magic happens when we make permanent cellular shifts in our being. It’s not just about using techniques to temporarily feel better—it’s about fundamentally changing our relationship with life itself.
Imagine becoming a person who naturally operates in a state of receptivity, where miraculous clarity is your new normal. This isn’t just a pipe dream—it’s entirely possible when we understand and align ourselves with the laws of physics that govern our universe.
The Power of Paradigm Shifts
Instead of focusing on changing individual beliefs one at a time, we can shift entire paradigms of thought and behavior. This allows us to transmute hundreds of old belief systems simultaneously, creating a quantum leap in our personal growth and effectiveness as leaders.
When we make these shifts, we often can’t even pinpoint exactly what’s changed. We simply notice that life starts flowing more easily, and we’re able to access creative solutions with greater frequency and ease.
Flourishing Through Times of Great Change
The world is constantly evolving, and as leaders, we’re called to not just survive these changes but to thrive in them. By embodying a new way of being—one that’s aligned with the laws of physics and open to receiving higher wisdom—we can turn times of great change into opportunities for exponential growth and impact.
Remember, the key to gaining clarity and maintaining focus isn’t about trying harder or doing more. It’s about creating space for the miraculous to enter your life. It’s about shifting your energy to match the frequency of the solutions you seek. And most importantly, it’s about trusting in the wisdom of the universe and your own innate ability to receive it.
As you move forward on your journey, I encourage you to experiment with these concepts. Take those spaciousness breaks, start your evidence journal, and most importantly, be open to embodying a new way of being. You might be surprised at the clarity and focus that naturally emerge when you align yourself with the laws of physics and the infinite wisdom of the universe.
