At this time of Yeshua’s birth, I always feel the quiet magic of unconditional love a bit more strongly. However you hold that story, the frequency is undeniable. Love …that keeps choosing. Love that keeps showing up. Love that lives right inside ordinary, human moments.
This Christmas has come with a few plot twists.
I came down with the flu, passed it on to Adam, and now he can’t come to Canada for Christmas. That one landed. I miss him. My mom’s immune system is compromised right now too, so there’s been a lot to be mindful of, a lot to hold gently.
And here’s where I find myself standing.
I am a creator.
And so are you.
We’re in a time where that truth is harder to ignore. This is our hologram. The way we meet life, the way we dance with what’s here, the way we choose our inner posture… it’s all being created moment by moment.
I’m watching myself make choices in real time. Feeling sad, and then letting that sadness open my heart instead of close it. Finding ways to love Adam from afar. Loving Mighty Mouse extra fiercely. Letting life shape me without taking me out.
Because I know this deeply:
We are not victims of life
…unless we decide to be. We don’t need to collect evidence for why things are hard. We get to choose what we stand for instead.
I am already thinking of ways to surprise and delight my two boys back in North Carolina, and it’s fun to dream of ways to show my love.
I know I am blessed. I walk around as blessed. And when I forget… because I absolutely do …I notice it, smile at myself, and redirect. Gently. Kindly. Back into the life I want to live.
That doesn’t mean I don’t feel things. I do. It just means I don’t stop living my blessed life because of them.
I want you to hear this, especially right now.
We are moving into a time for all to be vibrational
…instead of in the head. Let yourself come back home to your heart as often as you need. It’s your life….you get to do that. YOU’ve got this!
Let yourself be human. There’s a lot moving. A lot is being felt. A lot of rearranging. And then, when you’re ready, come back to your creative center. Come back to the part of you that knows how to choose love, presence, and possibility again and again.
We’re walking this together.
